Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips
These tasty little gems are so easy to make and tasty AMAZING! I made these this afternoon and they were ready for my kids by the time they got home from school. These baked cinnamon apple chips disappeared quickly and were given the blog worthy thumbs up. I tried a couple of these chips and loved the tart/sweet flavors of the apples, the spice from the cinnamon, and the crisp texture. A fun and delicious snack that I felt good about giving to my kids – especially knowing how much Halloween candy they will be eating tomorrow.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Using a mandoline, cut the apples very thinly.
Remove any seeds from any of the slices. Place the apple slices on the baking sheet, making sure not to overlap them. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon, to taste.
Place into the oven to bake for 2 – 2½ hours, or until crisp. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!

They are such a great snack!
I’m making apple chips today! Mainly for a cocktail garnish, but also to snack on 🙂 Yours look perfect!
Those do look wonderful! I love sweet snacks that are also healthy! (OK, so mostly I love sweet, but I try to stay away from sugar.)
What a wonderful snack.
If only mandolines didn’t scare me so much… 🙂 These are such a great way to get that apple a day in, though!
this is one of the few things i’ll get out my mandoline for!!
