Easy Blueberry Cobbler
A deliciously sweet cake-like batter topped with fresh blueberries make this easy blueberry cobbler recipe perfect for any breakfast, brunch, or dessert!

My local grocery store had a ton of locally grown fresh blueberries on sale, and I couldn’t resist buying some. I used some of the berries in this easy blueberry cobbler recipe that I found on America’s Test Kitchen. I adapted the recipe a bit because I didn’t have self-rising flour, so I mixed up some for this recipe, and it worked out well. I also reserved a few blueberries to put on top of the cobbler a few minutes before it finished baking, so it looked pretty when serving. This delicious, easy blueberry cobbler was simple to prepare, and it tasted fantastic, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Easy Blueberry Cobbler
Ingredients:
- 1Â (14 oz)Â can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ¼ cups self-rising flour  Side Note: To make self-rising flour, mix 2 cups flour, 3 tsp baking powder, and ½ tsp salt together until well combined. Use only 1¼ cup of flour for this recipe & reserve the rest for later use.
- ½ cup whole milk
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cups fresh blueberries, divided
- ¼ cup sugar

How to Make an Easy Blueberry Cobbler
Adjust oven rack to the middle position. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with butter.
Whisk together the condensed milk, flour, milk, and melted butter in a bowl.
Pour batter into the prepared baking dish. Side Note: To make self-rising flour, mix 2 cups of flour, 3 tsp of baking powder, and ½ tsp of salt until well combined. Use only 1¼ cup of flour for this recipe & reserve the rest for later use.
Sprinkle most of the blueberries and sugar evenly over the batter surface. Side Note: I reserved a few berries to add to the cobber 5-7 minutes before it finished baking, so it looked pretty (optional).Â

Place in the oven and bake until deep golden brown and a wooden tester inserted in the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes. Side Note: Sprinkle the reserved few berries on top of the cobber 5-7 minutes before it finishes baking so it looks pretty when serving (optional).Â
Transfer the cobbler to a wire cooling rack. Let cool for 10 minutes.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired. Enjoy.

Love cobbler! Easy to make, the result is always great!
Looks delicious and our blueberries are in.
Love to know if I could use peaches?
Such an uncomplicated recipe.
Miss J,
I’ve never tried using peaches, so I’m not sure how it would turn out. If you give it a try, please let me know how it is!
I have two different cobbler recipes using peaches! One is just peach and the other is peaches with blueberries.

Really nice recipe that is simple to make and results are delicious. I did add a teaspoon of real vanilla extract. I don’t have coarse sugar and regular sugar worked okay.
Sally,
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time to let me know.
