Buttery Dinner Rolls
I brought these rolls to a friend’s house for dinner recently. I tried a recipe I found on The Baker Chick’s site that looked easy and delicious. Unfortunately, I ran out of time so I couldn’t let the rolls rise as much as I would have liked but they still turned out really delicious and everyone liked them.
How to Make Buttery Dinner Rolls
Place all dough ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order listed making sure to only use 1 egg. Select the dough cycle and press start. Once the bread machine stops (it was one and a half hours on my machine).
Grease a 9×13 glass baking dish or large round Dutch oven or baking pan. Divide dough into 12-15 pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Place 2 inches apart in the baking dish.
Cover with a clean dishcloth (don’t use plastic wrap). Let rise in a warm place for 45 to 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, beat the remaining egg until blended; brush onto rolls. Bake until golden brown, about 17-20 minutes, rotating pans back to front and top to bottom halfway through.
Melt 1-2 tablespoons of butter in the microwave; add the minced garlic, stir until well combined. Brush the garlic butter over the top of the rolls; sprinkle with sea salt. Let rolls cool 10 minutes before serving.

Yum! I’ve always wanted to make homemade bread rolls and yours look great! I’ve looked threw your blog and you have the most amazing bread recipes I’m just eager to try! Unfrontunatly I do not own a bread machine at the moment an most of your recipes use one.. I really want one too but I’m unsure on what type to buy I don’t want to waste my money on something that won’t work for your recipes or just isn’t good quality. May I ask… What bread machine do you have like the name and make and where to find it?? I’d sure appreciate it! Thanks!! (-:
Jessica,
Thanks for your kind words… I am so glad you like my blog!
I have an old Oster bread machine (model number 5834). It has been a great machine and I have never had a problem with it. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Pam
I don’t have a bread machine. What can I do?

If you read through the recipe, the last paragraph tells you to brush the beaten egg on top of the rolls. I hope this helps.
