Nectarine Berry Fruit Salad
This fresh and delicious nectarine berry fruit salad with honey lime dressing and fresh basil is the perfect summer fruit salad.
It’s been so hot here in Oregon lately that I have found myself making lots of salads and sandwiches for dinner lately. I recently made this refreshing nectarine berry fruit salad and we loved the combination of fruit along with the honey lime dressing and bits of fresh basil. Don’t skip the basil! It really helps make this fruit salad shine.

My husband would love this!
Looks perfect for summer and really simple to make. Since we like berries with stone fruit I know we will enjoy it.
Oooh this sounds great. I feel like stone fruits and berries have been extra good this year and this would really let them shine!
Made this salad with a mix of farmers market nectarines (skin on) and peaches (peeled). Nice tart blend enhanced by the dressing; add more honey to taste. Fresh basil aroma and taste brighten the whole thing. To make ahead: wash, slice and separate fruits; refrigerate. Make dressing and refrigerate. Drain yellow fruits and mix with all and allow to marinate for a bit. Chiffonade and add basil just before serving or it will blacken.
Marilyn,
I’m so glad you enjoyed it and thanks for sharing your tips.
