Turkey and Roast Beef Sandwich with Extra Sharp Cheddar

Turkey and Roast Beef with Extra Sharp Cheddar

I can trace my love for sandwiches back to my childhood, at my good friend Molly’s house. Molly’s mom had the most amazing and loaded refrigerator, which she kept filled with fresh cuts of meat and cheese, tons of home-grown vegetables from the garden, homemade bread, homemade pickles, and all sorts of condiments. Molly and I would make ourselves the biggest and tastiest sandwiches, and I would enjoy every bite. Even though I didn’t have homemade bread or pickles, this sandwich reminded me of good times with a dear lifelong friend. This tasty, loaded sandwich paired nicely with some sweet potato chips and fresh fruit.
