Blendtec Blender Giveaway – My biggest giveaway ever!! ****CONTEST CLOSED-WINNER ANNOUNCED****

This blog has brought me so much happiness! I have become a better cook and I have met some of the most amazing people who love food and cooking as much as I do.  I have also been sent some fantastic products.  How cool is that??

Blendtec Blender Giveaway - My biggest giveaway ever!! ****CONTEST CLOSED-WINNER ANNOUNCED****

I was recently sent the most amazing blender I have EVER used by Blendtec.  It is extremely powerful and has so many capabilities.  You can make anything from milkshakes, smoothies, soups, sauces, hummus, pasta dough, pizza dough, mayonnaise and you can also grind meat, chop nuts and cheese.  I was really excited that they also sent me the Twister Jar attachment which makes ice cream, nut butter, pesto, and pie crust just to name a few things.  I’ve made this smoothie and this smoothie so far, which my kids LOVED, and I plan on trying several recipes from the recipe book as soon as possible.

It not only is a powerful blender, it’s simple to use and cleans up easily.  It also looks great too.  This blender will be kept on my countertop because I plan to use it A LOT.

The generous people at Blendtec are offering my readers their very own Blendtec Blender Classic Wildside, the Twister Jar attachment, and Fresh Blends Recipes Book for a total value of over $595.00!!!  You get to choose what color of blender you would like – Black, White, or Red.  I chose the black one and it’s a beauty!

To enter this giveaway simply leave a comment and tell me what’s the first thing you would make with your new blender.  ****CONTEST CLOSED-WINNER ANNOUNCED****

  1. I love to cook but live in a very small in-law apartment, so my counter/kitchen speace is quite limited. A stand mixture is too big but I use a blender to blend my ingredients for my macaroons, cakes, bread puddings etc. My mother has a thing for white chocolate dulce de leche macaroons, so that’s the first thing I’d use the blender for, blend that yummy almond flour with white chocolate chips and just make the best macaroons for my mom. ^_^

  2. I make a protein shake every morning and I’m in desperate need of a new blender – this would make my morning so much better!

  3. Wow, over 400 comments, competetion is fierce. I would make ice cream and a smoothie and pesto because I have tons of basil and I could go on and on. And I have to tell you when I make something new, whatever it may be and my hubby asks me where I got the recipe and I tell him it’s from Pam (we know you well around here) he says oh, I know it will be good.

  4. WOW – what a giveaway!?! The first thing I’d blend is a batch of homemade peach ice cream with those super sweet end of summer home grown peaches I froze… YUM. Thank you!

  5. I NEED this blender so I can perfect my Mexican Paint Soup. The roasted red pepper puree just didn’t come out smooth as I wanted it to with my food processor and the blender I have now is wimpy. Found your blog through FoodieStuntman!

  6. It’s a toss-up – either (we have life-threatening peanut allergies, so we need to make our own) cashew butter or blend roasted vegetables for soups.

  7. The first thing I would make is a smoothie! A good friend of mine raves about her Blendtec and has a book of recipes waiting 🙂

  8. I WANT A BLENDTEC SOOOOO BAD! I wanted one for some time and trying to save the money. I make smoothies most mornings and would love to have blender with power to do seeds and skins of harder fruits & veggies. I do not know what I would make first…I would probably go to the farmers market and buy a ton of veggies/fruit and nuts… come home and make soup, smoothies, hummus and PEANUT BUTTER! I have been dying to make homemade peanut butter instead of ever having to buying it at the store again!
I have shared this on my Facebook, Like For the Love of Cooking and Blendtec on Facebook, •Follow For the Love of Cooking on Pinterest, and •Subscribed to the Love of Cooking RSS Feeds.
Thank you for your consideration! I can not tell you what having this Blendtec would mean for me and my health!!!!
    THANKS!!!!!!!

  9. Very cool giveaway! I have tried many of the recipes on your site and they all turn out as fabulous as you proclaim. You are a phenomenal mom and amateur gourmet…a true inspiration!

  10. I would make first, a healthy protein filled smoothie for my very active/very skinny 13 year old! He LOVES smoothies!

Next, I’d have to whip up some fresh homemade pico de gallo!

  11. My daughter has been asking for homemade potato soup now that it’s getting chilly so I would definitely want to try it in the Blendtec!!

  12. I would make a smoothie and try putting ice in it to see if it sounds like some one is publishing our house while it blends.

  13. Oh the blender I have now is no good at all. I have to keep stopping it when I make smoothies so the first thing I would make with this blender is a smoothie in hopes I won’t have to keep stopping! 😉

  14. This thing looks amazing! I don’t think I’d actually get to be the one to make the first thing with a new Blend-tec blender. My teenagers would be fighting over who gets to make the first superfruit smoothie or chocolate milkshake!

  15. The first thing I would make is a smoothie, not a very original answer but all my kids love them. I would also make blender wheat pancakes as soon as possible.

  16. If I win this blender, I would make one of everyting! It looks fantastic, and my kitchen is black and red, so howperfect is that? Thanks for giving us a chance to try it 🙂 LOVE your blog!

  17. It is unconventional but I would use it to grind wheat and make some wheat bread. I would shortly thereafter make a fruit filled smoothie.

  18. Awesome giveaway! The first thing I would make would be a strawberry peach smoothie for my boys. I currently have a really cheap one that works horribly, I could really use a good blender! 🙂

  19. I would make an interesting Friday drink to have while watching the sunset and rejoicing in the coming weekend! I’m sure that blender could handle lots of ice.

  20. The first thing I would try would be grinding wheat. The next thing I would make would be ice cream. And the list goes on and on . . .

  21. I tweeted your statement – Enter to win a @Blendtec Blender Classic Wildside package worth over $595.00 hosted by @4loveofcooking

  22. My first instinct is to say that I will use it to make my own ‘Will it Blend?” video…but I really plan on making some soup to get me through my first rainy season in the NW!

  23. Also, I’m an RSS subscriber! Now I can see your creations in Google reader every morning when I get to the office 🙂

  24. I would have to try ICE CREAM!! Yum. I have seen so many recipes to make ice cream with these super blenders. What an amazing give away, thank you and thanks to blendtec. 🙂

  25. I have a yummy recipe for homemade tomato soup that I would love to try making in the blender–it would probably be a lot smoother. I’ve also always wanted to try making my own nut butter. I could probably think of a lot of things to make with this blender 🙂

  26. I would love this blender! Now that winter is coming, I will be consuming more frozen fruits and veggies in smoothies and soups. This blender would make those things a breeze! The day you posted this was my birthday, so it would also be fun to get this as a belated present. :).
