Blendtec Blender Giveaway – My biggest giveaway ever!! ****CONTEST CLOSED-WINNER ANNOUNCED****

This blog has brought me so much happiness! I have become a better cook and I have met some of the most amazing people who love food and cooking as much as I do.  I have also been sent some fantastic products.  How cool is that??

Blendtec Blender Giveaway - My biggest giveaway ever!! ****CONTEST CLOSED-WINNER ANNOUNCED****

I was recently sent the most amazing blender I have EVER used by Blendtec.  It is extremely powerful and has so many capabilities.  You can make anything from milkshakes, smoothies, soups, sauces, hummus, pasta dough, pizza dough, mayonnaise and you can also grind meat, chop nuts and cheese.  I was really excited that they also sent me the Twister Jar attachment which makes ice cream, nut butter, pesto, and pie crust just to name a few things.  I’ve made this smoothie and this smoothie so far, which my kids LOVED, and I plan on trying several recipes from the recipe book as soon as possible.

It not only is a powerful blender, it’s simple to use and cleans up easily.  It also looks great too.  This blender will be kept on my countertop because I plan to use it A LOT.

The generous people at Blendtec are offering my readers their very own Blendtec Blender Classic Wildside, the Twister Jar attachment, and Fresh Blends Recipes Book for a total value of over $595.00!!!  You get to choose what color of blender you would like – Black, White, or Red.  I chose the black one and it’s a beauty!

To enter this giveaway simply leave a comment and tell me what’s the first thing you would make with your new blender.  ****CONTEST CLOSED-WINNER ANNOUNCED****

  1. Very, very thick smoothies. Most blenders I’ve tried can’t handle them and just spin in an air pocket formed at the bottom. Thick shakes, too!

  2. I would make my first ever green smoothie!!!!!
Followed very closely with the recipes for Cheesecake Factory Thai Lettuce Wrap sauces. 🙂

  3. I always try and make sauces in my food processor and it’s constantly overflowing. If I won, I’d start off by making my favorite red pepper sauce!

  4. Definitely a green smoothie! Right now I’m loving them with bananas, frozen mangos, frozen blueberries, coconut milk, kefir, baby spinach, spirulina, and peanut butter. Yum!

  5. I would live one of these blenders. The first thing I’d make is a smoothie with some berries I can’t use in other blenders because it doesn’t blend them well enough.

  6. My daughter has one and loves it. I wouldn’t have to go to her house to make green smoothies, I could make my own at my house.

  7. I follow you on pinterest and like you on Facebook. I would use that blender everyday, from smoothies to dough! Love, love, love:)

  8. I SHOULD say I would make a green smoothie. That would be the healthy choice. But I’d probably make a milkshake. But then I’d make hummus to balance out the shake so it’s all even in the end right?

  9. As requested Pam, I am following you on your RSS feeder (and have been for several years), also started following you on Twitter and FB, also following Blendtec on all of your sites! Thanks for the opportunity for the Blendtec!

  10. First of all, I love your site. The first thing I would do with my Blendtec blender is make a nice autumn inspired soup!

  11. My 11-year-old won’t eat mashed potatoes because he hates lumps. I’d blend him the smoothest mashed potatoes on the planet!!

  12. Banana Ice Cream was my first thought and then I realized tomorrow is the first day of fall … and some Tomatillo Soup sounded very yummy!

  13. Wow! What an amazing giveaway! I am currently looking for a new blender and I would be sooo thrilled to get THIS blender! The first thing I would make would be a baked potato soup and I am also really excited to grind meat with it:)

  14. I haven’t made mayo in a long time. What better way to break in my new blender. Nothing wrong with a positive attitude, right?

  15. My parents have a blender like this, and it is great!! They don’t use it for much other than drinks, though. I would use it for tons of things!! The first thing I’d make using the Blendtec blender would probably be fruit leather…followed by a quick wash so I could make a marinade for a tri-tip going on the grill…followed by another quick wash before starting on a cheesecake…and then another wash so I could whip up some margaritas……so many possibilities!!

    Love your fabulous blog, Pam!!

    Cheers,
    Erika

  16. Hmm…probably pumpkin puree. I have a small blender, which doesn’t hold much, so it takes a while to ever get the amount I need for a recipe, so this would probably come in handy at the moment or really whenever.

  17. I have a toss up as to what would be the first thing that I would make in my Blendtec. I would either make my favorite Yellow Tomato Gapacho with Cilantro Oil and Avocado, or Cream of Leek Soup (vegan). The latter is a new recipe I have been waiting to try, and it will probably be how I choose to break in my Blendtec.
