Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
My dear friend Currié’s birthday is tomorrow so we had them over for dinner tonight. She requested some of her favorites–Chicken Milanese, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, and House Salad with Fran’s Vinaigrette. For dessert, she said she wanted a Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. I went in search of recipes online and finally found one that I thought she would love from Taste of Home. I adapted it a bit by adding pieces of mini Reeses Peanut Butter Cups (her favorite candy) and then drizzled melted chocolate on top. It looked so pretty and tasted delicious, rich, and very decadent!! It was a big hit with everyone, especially the birthday girl!
How to Make a Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
For the filling, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Fold in whipped cream until well combined. Gently spoon into the crust. Garnish with pieces of mini Reese’s peanut butter cups.
Place the chocolate chips in a glass bowl into the microwave and cook for 30 seconds then remove & stir; return to the microwave and cook for 20 seconds then remove and stir; return to the microwave (if needed) for 10 seconds then remove and stir, until creamy and melted. Place the melted chocolate chips into a small ziplock bag then cut a tiny edge off one of the corners.
Pipe the melted chocolate over the top of the pie. Place into the refrigerator for a couple of hours to set. Serve & enjoy!

This is one of my favorite desserts! I am going to make it next week for a friend who has a baby!
This is basically the BEST flavor combination everrrr!
Gorgeous pie Pam and as a lifelong Reesey Cup fan, I would have to pick them off to eat first.
This looks decadent!
Oh this is just what you need for the winter! Great idea!
This is quite a pie! Definitely birthday worthy…I might even have to make it for my birthday in February!
This look beautful Pam!
Wow, now that is a dessert!
awesome. this would delight any lover of the reese’s cup…and really, any human at all.
WOW! Peanut butter and chocolate are a favorite combo in my house. Pam- I see that you used a pre-made crust in a disposable pan, but your recipe instructions say to mix cookie crumbs, sugar and butter together for the crust. I hate to ask this, but would it be possible for you post the crust ingredient measurements? I would love it if your recipe included the crust so I don’t have to link over to TOH every time I make this, which I’m sure will be often! 🙂
