Chocolate Covered Clementines

Chocolate Covered Clementines

These chocolate covered clementines were a super fun after-school snack that made my kids very happy! I dipped the clementines in milk chocolate then drizzled the top with white chocolate. They were a snap to make, looked pretty, and my kids thought they were awesome.

How to Make Chocolate Covered Clementines

Peel the clementines then place them on paper towels to dry up any juices. Make sure the pieces are very dry. Side Note: The chocolate will not stick to the fruit if they are wet!

Place the chocolate chips and one teaspoon of coconut oil in a glass bowl then put into the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir then place back into the microwave for 10 seconds. Remove and stir then place back into the microwave for 10 seconds. Remove and stir until completely melted. If needed, continue cooking for 10-second increments. Be careful not to overcook the chocolate!

Dip half of the clementine into the melted milk chocolate then place it on a baking sheet topped with wax paper. Repeat with the remaining pieces of clementine.
