Peach Milkshake with Vanilla Bean
My son hasn’t been feeling well this week and my daughter had three tests today at school. I decided to try lifting their spirits with a special after-school treat today. We had some very ripe peaches in the fruit bowl and some vanilla ice cream in the freezer. I made the kids each a small peach milkshakes with vanilla bean and a bit of cinnamon. They gobbled up every last drop and declared them to be super AWESOME!
How to Make Peach Milkshake with Vanilla Bean
Place the peeled and chopped peaches into a blender then add a few scoops of vanilla ice cream and the milk.
Split the vanilla bean pod in half lengthwise. Scrape the vanilla seeds out of each half with the knife and place them into the blender. Add a pinch of cinnamon then put the lid on the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into serving glasses – I used fancy champagne flutes to make the milkshakes extra special. Serve immediately with spoons and straws. Enjoy.
Hope your son feels better soon 🙂
You are an awesome mama, Pam. Now I need to go make one for myself!
You are such a great mom – milkshakes sound like a perfect spirit lifter to me.
Such a thoughtful mom! I see you have Halloween decorations up, too, which must help the kids’ spirits as well!
Oh, I bet that was delicious.
i’ve never made a peach milkshake, but i LOVE the way they taste! what a treat. 🙂
I would replace regular milk with some nice coconut milk and use vegan ice-cream – Mniaaaaaam! I bet you enjoyed it!
I love peaches, really nice idea to use them in a milkshake!
