Caramelized Ham & Swiss Sliders
I have seen these little sliders on food blogs for a long time but have never made them. After making the Thyme Honey Glazed Ham, I knew exactly what I would finally be making with the leftovers – these little caramelized ham & Swiss sliders. They were quick and simple to make and smelled pretty amazing while they baked. My husband was especially fond of these sliders and the rest of us thought they were tasty. These sandwiches paired perfectly with the classic Caesar salad I paired them with.
How to Make Caramelized Ham & Swiss Sliders
Combine the warm melted butter with the Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk well; set aside to allow the flavors to mingle.
Spray a cast-iron skillet with olive oil cooking spray. Set aside. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Split the roll into two halves (top & bottom). Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the rolls, to taste. Place some ham on the bottom halves of the rolls then top with some Swiss cheese. Replace tops and place them in a single layer in the cast iron skillet.
Whisk the melted butter combination until thick and well combined. Brush mixture over the rolls.
Cover with foil and bake covered for 20 minutes, remove foil and bake 5 more minutes.

We love sliders! Your sound delicious! Perfect for all that leftover Easter ham!
They look delicious Pam. We sure enjoyed our visit to Tillamook while in OR.
Great way to use your leftover ham. And, they should be perfect with Caesar Salad.
Sounds terrific! You must all have been drooling at the oven door by the time they came out, because I’m sure they smelled wonderful. I might just make some rolls and try these, since we always have ham around.
