Blackberry Goat Cheese Crostini
My son is a big fan of goat cheese and I just happened to have a bowl of fresh blackberries on the counter so I decided to make this recipe for easy blackberry goat cheese crostini recipe. This appetizer is really easy to throw together and the combination of flavors and textures is wonderful – I especially loved the lime zest on there. This crostini was a big hit with my entire family and we all thought it was pretty too.
How to Make Blackberry Goat Cheese Crostini
Make the whipped goat cheese by stirring the softened goat cheese and cream cheese together until creamy and smooth. Season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste. Set aside.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Make the crostini by brushing the baguette slices with a bit of olive oil and placing them on a baking tray. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
To assemble, slather a bit of whipped goat cheese on each crostini then top with 1 or 2 blackberries. Drizzle with a bit of warmed honey, to taste. Top with a little basil and lime zest. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1 oz cream cheese, softened

- ½ baguette, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 oz fresh blackberries
- Honey, to taste
- Fresh basil, chopped finely
- Zest from 1 lime
