Balsamic Vinaigrette
We love a good balsamic vinaigrette and after several attempts, I finally have a recipe that we all love. It’s slightly sweet, tangy and so delicious. Try this on your next salad.
Balsamic Vinaigrette:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar, more if desired (Side Note: We enjoy a very tangy vinaigrette if you don’t use 1/4 cup)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp shallot, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp of dried basil
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
Combine all ingredients in a small food processor (except for the oil) and blend. Slowly add the olive oil while mixing. Taste & re-season if needed. Store in a sealed container & use throughout the week on salads & veggies. Enjoy.

That vinaigrette sounds good.
Sounds great and really simple. I’m a big fan of homemade salad dressings, and I wish more people realized how easy it is to make your own. Thanks for sharing this.
