I just had roasted asparagus with my dinner tonight! The saltiness of the prosciutto sounds like a nice compliment.
I've made it as a side dish, and it wasn't even a holiday. Good stuff!
P.S. Thanks for your roast a chicken in your Dutch oven with a bed of fingerling potatoes, etc. idea, which I came to by Googling. Good dinner tonight. 🙂
I could not agree with you more, not only is this my favorite, but it is always the first snack platter that is finished on my functions.

Yum!! Also, done on the grill for 5-6 minutes is just as delicious for the summer months!
I love this recipe and I hope you don’t mind but I borrowed it and put it on my personal blog. Linking back to your page of course. Thanks for sharing.
We do this on the grill! Baste with maple syrup during the cooking and the salty sweet combo is divine!
This was SOOOO good. I’ll never eat asparagus any other way again! It is really good with just a squeeze of lemon at the end. Yum!! I only had to roast for about 10 minutes, but I think my oven runs hot.
