Spiced Pumpkin Butter
My son LOVES pumpkin butter so I surprised him by making some homemade spiced pumpkin butter. This pumpkin butter recipe seriously couldn’t have been easier to make and it tastes fantastic! My kids thought it was delicious and they want it on their waffles tomorrow morning for breakfast.
Spiced Pumpkin Butter
Ingredients:
- 1 (15 oz) can of pumpkin puree **NOT pumpkin pie filling
- ½ cup + 2 tbsp real maple syrup
- ¼ cup apple juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp cloves
- ¼ tsp ginger
- ⅛ tsp salt
How to Make Spiced Pumpkin Butter
Combine the pumpkin puree, maple sauce, apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger together in a saucepan.
Cook on medium-low heat for 25-30 minutes or until thick. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
Place into a glass jar and keep in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months. Enjoy!

this would be killer on waffles! you know i’m not the biggest supporter of pumpkin recipes, but this is so versatile and has so many delicious ingredients, i can’t help but be a fan!
I could spread this all over EVERYTHING…or just eat it straight from the jar!
