Spicy Snow Peas with Ginger
I made these spicy snow peas with ginger to pair with Korean flanken style ribs and garlic rice for a recent dinner. I love to quickly cook snow peas, putting their crisp texture front and center. These snow peas take only minutes to make but are so spicy, flavorful, and delicious with the combination of sesame oil, chili oil, ginger, and garlic. I love recipes like this–quick, simple, and oh so tasty!
How to Make Spicy Snow Peas with Ginger
Heat the sesame oil and the chili oil together in a large saute pan. Add the snow peas and toss to coat evenly. Cook, stirring often, for 3 minutes. Add the minced ginger and garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Season the sesame snow peas with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.
Pour into a serving bowl and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, or both, to taste. Serve immediately with additional chili oil and some soy sauce on the side, if desired. Enjoy.
