Garlic Butter Roasted Asparagus
This easy garlic butter roasted asparagus recipe is a simple, fast side dish that pairs well with nearly any main entree.
This is the best asparagus recipe because it’s so quick and easy to make, tastes buttery delicious, and goes well with steaks, chops, chicken, fish, or seafood. Thanks to asparagus being available year round here in Oregon, I find myself making easy recipe for garlic butter roasted asparagus at least a few times a month and it’s always been a family favorite.
Garlic Butter Roasted Asparagus
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb asparagus spears, woody ends trimmed & discarded
- 2 tsp olive oil
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 clove of garlic, finely minced
How to Make Garlic Butter Roasted Asparagus
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Drizzle the olive oil over the asparagus spears on a small baking sheet. Season with garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, sea salt, and freshly cracked pepper to taste; toss until evenly coated.
Place into the oven to roast for 5-7 minutes, depending on the thickness of the spears, until just barely crisp-tender.
Combine the melted butter and the finely minced garlic together then pour over the roasted asparagus and toss to coat evenly.
Return to the oven to roast for 1-2 minutes, or until the asparagus is crisp-tender. Serve immediately. Enjoy.

Asparagus is a green vegetable I’m willing to roast (a little) and these look very good.
