Sesame Green Beans

I needed a simple Asian side dish to pair with the meal I was making, so I made this easy sesame green beans recipe from Martha Stewart. This easy green bean side dish was simple to make, a big hit with my whole family, and paired nicely with garlic-ginger chicken thighs and carrot-ginger rice.
Sesame Green Beans
Ingredients:
- 1 lb of green beans, ends trimmed
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2-3 tsp soy sauce, to taste
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste

How to Make Sesame Green Beans
Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil over high heat.
Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes or until just tender. Drain the water.
Meanwhile, combine the vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds and mix until well combined.
Add the mixture to the cooked & drained green beans and toss to coat evenly.
Season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste, and serve immediately. Enjoy.
