I am taking the week off from posting new recipes to spend some quality time with my family and some friends. I’ll be back to posting soon. In the meantime, I’ll leave you will some tasty recipes to keep you busy.
I love making sandwiches for dinner in the summer. It’s a great way to use up leftover ingredients in the refrigerator, to keep meals from being too heavy, and from heating up the kitchen. Here are some of my very favorite sandwiches.
Panko Crusted Portobello Mushroom with Boursin, Braised Kale, and Heirloom Tomato
Toasted Ham and Brie on a Baguette with Fig Jam
Carolina-Style Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Banh Mi Sandwich with Lemongrass Pork
Caprese Panini with Basil Mayonnaise
Turkey, Havarti, and Avocado Bagel Thin Sandwich
Blistered Tomato and Ricotta Bruschetta with Fresh Basil
Chicken Gyros with Tzatziki Sauce
Turkey, Extra Sharp Cheddar, Tomato, and Avocado Panini with Basil Mayonnaise
We sometimes like to have sandwiches for dinner, too. They’re fast and tasty — winner! Have a great week off!
