House Salad
I love a good salad–something quick and easy to prepare that’s filled with fresh vegetables and topped with a tasty dressing. This salad is my version of a house salad. It’s a family favorite and always a big hit with our friends because it’s so simple, fresh, and delicious and it has a salty/sweet/crunchy factor that makes it very appealing. This easy house salad recipe pairs nicely with Fran’s simple vinaigrette & Herb croutons and goes well with almost any protein or main entree.

Pam,
Once again your House Salad served me well! I make homemade croutons all the time with leftover baguettes or whatever bread I have on hand. I add just enough butter or oil to them to make whatever spices I add. Sooo good with this salad. What I like is how I can tweak it with things I have on hand and it always pleases.
