Brie and Mango Pepper Jelly Crostini

Brie and Mango Pepper Jelly Crostini

Since it has been so hot here recently we have been having a lot of smorgasbords for dinner. Usually a rotisserie chicken or deli meats with veggies, fruits, cheese, olives, pickles, etc. Last night I decided to switch it up a bit and served these crostinis with our smorgasbord. I love the flavors and textures of this simple appetizer – buttery creamy cheese on a toasted piece of bread with a sweet & spicy jelly on top. These tasty crostini disappeared very quickly and my daughter, who normally doesn’t care for cheese, gobbled up several of them and has decided this is a new favorite.
