Sweet and Salty Trail Mix
I like making sweet and salty trail mix on hand for quick snacks on the go–the trail mixes I make usually have salty nuts, sweet fruit, and a chocolate treat. I either serve trail mix in a bowl when my kids have friends over, or I pour a ¼ cup of trail mix in baggies/Tupperware for snacks on the go. My kids and husband love trail mix and it’s so much more economical to make at home.
Sweet and Salty Trail Mix
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup raw almonds
- ½ cup salted cashews
- ½ cup raw pecans
- ½ cup honey-roasted peanuts
- ½ cup mini M&M’s
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
How to Make Sweet and Salty Trail Mix
Combine the almonds, cashews, pecans, honey-roasted peanuts, mini M&M’s, and dried cranberries in a large bowl Toss to mix evenly.
Serve either in a bowl immediately or measure ¼ cup of trail mix into zip lock baggies or Tupperware for snacks on the go. Enjoy.
