Garlic Butter Roasted Shrimp with Parmesan
I have to say, this may be one of my all-time favorite appetizers. Whether it’s for a summer evening, Super Bowl party, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, this appetizer will always be a crowd-pleaser. What’s even better is how simple these roasted shrimp are to make! I tossed the shrimp together with a little olive oil, sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes then roasted them for a few minutes. Next, I tossed these shrimp with some melted garlic butter and roasted them for a few more minutes which gave them tons of flavor but didn’t burn the garlic. The shrimp were amazing and both of my kids devoured this pound of shrimp in less than 15 minutes. These garlic butter roasted shrimp with parmesan are a fun, quick, and delicious appetizer (or main dish) that will put a smile on your dinner guests’ faces.
How to Make Garlic Butter Roasted Shrimp with Parmesan
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with tin foil then coat with cooking spray.
Peel and de-vein the shrimp, making sure to leave the tails on. Drizzle the shrimp with olive oil then season both sides with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes, to taste.
Place into the oven and roast for 4 minutes. Remove from the oven. Combine the melted butter with the minced garlic; mix until well combined. Drizzle the melted garlic butter over the shrimp then toss to coat evenly. Place back into the oven to roast for 4-5 minutes, or until pink and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with freshly grated parmesan. Serve immediately with lemon wedges (and cocktail sauce), if desired. Enjoy!
