Brie served with Crostini and Grapes

I love getting samples of goods in the mail from different companies, especially when they send me cheese! I was recently sent 4 different kinds of cheese from Ile De France, one of which was brie. We had friends come over for dinner so I decided to have brie served with crostini and grapes as an appetizer. The cheese was subtle in flavor and very creamy in texture it paired perfectly with the crisp crostini and the sweet grapes. We all loved this brie cheese.

How to Make Brie Served with Crostini and Grapes

Take the brie out of the refrigerator before serving so it can come to room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Place the slices of bread onto a baking sheet, and coat with olive oil spray if desired. Bake in the oven for 2-3 minutes, until crisp and golden brown.

Place the Brie on a plate and serve with the crostini and grapes. If you prefer melted Brie, place the Brie on the plate, cook in the microwave for 30-45 seconds then add the crostini and grapes. Enjoy.

On a side note:

I also served the Fol Epi cheese with salami and crackers as an appetizer. I didn’t get a picture because the four kids were STARVING and needed to be fed. The Fol Epi cheese reminded us of a mellow Swiss cheese. I liked the firmer texture and the delicious taste… this cheese was a huge hit with the kids. Next time I buy this, I’d like to serve it over French onion soup. Thanks to Ile De France for sending me such fantastic cheese.
